Support - Fundraising 101: Can I void a SAFE or convertible note?

Have you sent a SAFE or convertible note via Capbase to your investor, but now want to change the terms? Or maybe you got it signed but then you never received the funds?
Unfortunately, we don't currently have a user-facing option to void a SAFE or convertible note. This is being built by our team and will be available very soon.
To void a SAFE or convertible Note, please reach out to our support team through live chat or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org in order to generate the necessary voiding documents to achieve this.
If the SAFE/convertible note was NOT fully executed (the investor hasn't signed), then the voiding documents will require only a company officer's signature.
If the SAFE/convertible note was fully executed (both parties have signed), then the voiding documents will require signatures from both parties (company officer and investor).
You'll find these voiding documents in your Document Room. Once these are signed, the original SAFE or convertible Note will be marked as voided.
