Support - Fundraising 101: How do I add investors to my fundraising round?

If you haven't opened a fundraising round yet, please visit this article to learn how to do this from your Capbase Dashboard.
Once you've opened a fundraising round, you'll go to your Capbase Dashboard > Fundraising > Discovery and click on Add investors:
Here, you'll enter the contact information of the investor, like their fund name, email address, LinkedIn profile, and/or AngelList profile:
Once you click on Add target investor, this investor will get added to your Target Investors list. The investor won't be notified of this.
To add this investor to your round, you'll click on the Add to round button next to their name:
You can more target investors by clicking on the Add target investor button or you could also take a look at the list of suggested investors, which has been created based on your company profile and fundraising goals.
To add one of these suggested investors to your target investors, click on the Add to target button next to their name.
Once you've added the investor to your round, you'll go to your Current round and see that your investor has been added to the Prospect section of your investor CRM:
In your investor CRM, you'll be able to add more information about the status of your prospective investors. You can change the status of each investor to one of the following options:
target: this means that you haven't contacted this investor yet
contacted: this means that you've had direct contact with this investor
met/pitched: this means that you've met and/or pitched to this investor
pass: this means the investor has passed on the investment
You can also add the last date of contact and notes about each meeting.
Once you're ready to raise funds from an investor in your current round, you'll click on the Raise funds button next to their name to create and send them a SAFE or convertible note.
